Exercise: Corrections

Second set of images: Dust specks

Picture 1: Image 1 before adjustments

This picture has some smaller specks of dust as well as a large, clearly visible, curled hair in the area of the sky, to the left of the tower.
To remove the hair, I used clone stamp tool with opacity set to 100%, with relatively hard edge of the brush. I created a duplicate layer to make sure that the corrections are restricted to one layer only.
I then checked the entire image moving along the screen, with the image size set to 100%.

Picture 3: Part of the image during the clone tool adjustment

This image demonstrates the importance of viewing any image at 100% enlargement: not only you can spot the tiniest dust specks but also find other elements that might need correction. For example, when I had a closer look, I found a lens flare in this image which could only be spotted at 100%.
